@wnq85cy6r5 : They know they are there, and are getting along just fine. It is the height of arrogance to say we need a body to prove they exist so we can protect them. They dont need us; again, they are doing just fine adapting to humans on their own. Only those needing to show others they aren’t crazy and were right all along feel a specimen is a must. You want a body? You will see plenty as the poachers get serious about finding them for many diff. reasons!

Swamp cabbage is southern slang for Sable Palm Trees; Florida of course is covered with them. Another lesser known slang refers to the hearts of the Palmetto plant, which are edible.
